Ahead of next week’s much-anticipated UEFA Champions League opener against Rotterdam-based side Feyenoord, Celtic has issued an important announcement for its travelling fans.

The club has informed supporters who are planning to attend the game about a few logistical details concerning the stadium in Rotterdam.
Fans have been warned that there is a considerable number of stairs leading up to the away section, and unfortunately, the stadium does not offer lift facilities for supporters.
To ensure smooth entry into the stadium and alleviate potential bottlenecks, Celtic has shared that there are four designated away turnstiles.
With the significance of the match and the expected large turnout of travelling Celtic fans, the stadium will be opening its gates two hours prior to kick-off.
Hopefully, Brendan Rodgers and his side can make an impact in the Champions League this season, starting with the match next week. Any points, especially away from home, could prove to be valuable at the end of the group.
