Celtic have been recognised as one of the top-performing clubs in Europe when it comes to financial stability, with leading football business outlet Off The Pitch placing the Hoops eighth in their rankings.
The annual list, compiled by Off The Pitch and widely respected across the industry, highlights clubs operating with sound financial practices and long-term sustainability.

This year marks Celtic’s first appearance in the top 10, placing them in the company of clubs such as Napoli, Manchester City, and Bayern Munich.
Napoli lead the way in first place, followed by Silkeborg and Molde from Denmark and Sweden respectively. Manchester City sit fourth, ahead of Clermont Foot, Bayern Munich, Fiorentina, and Celtic. Spanish side Elche and Norwegian club AGF Aarhus round out the list.
The recognition comes on the back of a strong financial performance from the Glasgow club. Celtic’s interim report, published in February, revealed profits of £26.9 million and revenue of £83.5 million, figures that highlight the club’s consistent off-field financial strength.

While many clubs across Europe have struggled with financial uncertainty, Celtic’s model continues to deliver a balance between ambition and responsibility. The Bhoys’ inclusion in the top 10 highlights the effectiveness of the current business model.
With European football’s financial landscape growing more volatile, Celtic’s standing among the continent’s most stable clubs is no small feat, and one that strengthens their position both at home and abroad.
