Celtic have landed pot ONE in the Europa League draw after a run of results went in the club’s favour this evening.

Neil Lennon’s men looked destined for pot 2 after beating Sarajevo 1-0 in Bosnia but Sporting losing to LASK and Athens winning their tie meant the bhoys going from Pot two to pot one.

That means the bhoys will be top of the shop tomorrow and will not be able to draw any other pot one side. That doesn’t guarantee us an easy ride though with Leicester in pot two or three among other top sides.

We will give you the full official confirmation of what team is where in due course.

The draw takes place at 12pm Friday where the Scottish champions will discover their fate.

We topped our group last time around and there will be expectations we can do it again. As we’ve seen from the last two weeks, it’s not going to be easy and we’ll need to be at our very best to make our mark in this year’s competition.

Malmö, Rosenborg, APOEL, Viktoria Plzeň, Copenhagen, Legia Warsaw, Basel, Galatasaray and Sporting Lisbon have all been knocked out of this years tournament. The one off ties have proven to be many clubs undoing.
