Former Celtic goalkeeper Packie Bonner believes that Hoops striker Leigh Griffiths is finished at the club.

Speaking on BBC Sportsound, Bonner thinks that Griffiths has fallen down the pecking order and after yesterday’s performance against Falkirk, his time might be up at the club.

“Yeah I think he’s finished as a Celtic player. He’s gone down the pecking order.”

It wasn’t just Bonner who was critical of Griffiths’ performance in yesterday’s Scottish Cup tie with many fans also being left just as frustrated and that was evident to see across social media.

Over the last few years, the 30-year old has been a good striker for the club scoring some crucial goals at times along the way.

However, as he moves into his 30s and the fitness problems begin to mount up over the season, it may be time to think about moving on.

Going into the summer, he will be coming into the final 12 months of his contract at the club. So, whoever the next manager is has a decision to make around Griffiths’ future and whether or not they believe he can have an impact going forward.
