The Kristoffer Ajer news has refused to die down over the past few days and it appears Celtic are making contingency plans in case they receive a bid for the player in the next two weeks.

AC Milan seem to be the biggest admirers of the Norwegian but if we were to sell Ajer this late on, we would have to quickly replace him.

Earlier in the window Celtic were linked with a move for Omar Colley who currently plays in Italy with Sampdoria; news coming out of Italy suggests talks have been resurrected in the past week according to SampNews.

This could be Celtic getting their ducks in a row just in case Kristoffer does move on.

Sky Sports Italy confirmed Celtic had enquired about the centre-back earlier this window. The defender has a £10m+ release clause, but it’s thought Celtic could land Omar for a lower price should they make an official move.
