In recent days and weeks, Celtic has been linked with several players, including AEK Athens forward Levi Garcia, who hails from Trinidad and Tobago.
The talented international first emerged as a potential Celtic target for the Hoops at the end of April, and he has now openly discussed the transfer interest surrounding him.
Garcia expressed his surprise at the calibre of clubs showing interest in him, stating (quoted from Newsday via Daily Record):

“I TRY MY BEST TO IGNORE IT, BUT SOMETIMES WHEN YOU HEAR ABOUT THE CLUBS THAT ARE INTERESTED, IT REALLY CATCHES YOU OFF GUARD. YOU’RE LIKE, ‘REALLY?'”
“NONETHELESS, I REMAIN FOCUSED ON MY CURRENT GOALS AND RESPONSIBILITIES. WHATEVER THE FUTURE HOLDS, IT WILL DEPEND ON HOW THINGS UNFOLD.”
Garcia’s mindset reflects the importance of staying focused on the present and not getting carried away with potential future prospects.
However, it’s hard not to be intrigued when a club as prestigious as Celtic shows interest in a player.
As of now, there haven’t been any recent updates regarding Garcia’s potential move. Nonetheless, it’s certainly a situation worth monitoring as the months progress.
