Celtic have been linked with a move with Burnley’s Robbie Brady in recent times.

The Irish international is a free agent this summer after Burnley paid £13m for the player back in 2017.

Injuries have majorly hampered Brady’s progress with Burnley and they appear to want to cut their losses on him.

The Scotsman have reported Celtic are still interested and are on alert as a potential signing for the Hoops this summer.

Verdict

Celtic should NOT be looking to bring in any player with a history of injuries.

We need players fit and ready to go as soon as pre-season starts. Brady hasn’t played a decent run of games in a long time and the physical nature of Scottish Football isn’t going to be conducive to the Irishman staying fit.

The 29-year-old might have to take up a pay as you play deal this summer. It just shouldn’t be at Celtic. There’s better talent out there we can go get in this window.
