CELTIC are stepping up their efforts to bolster their squad ahead of next season and reports suggest they’ve set their sights on Chelsea starlet Dominic Solanke.
The 19-year-old Englishman has caught the attention of Brendan Rodgers after he turned down a new contract to stay at Stamford Bridge earlier this season.
The player believes his development is being stifled in London and that a move away will benefit him greatly.
Liverpool have been interested in bringing the youngster to Anfield but would have to pay a fee under FA regulations. Celtic would be free to sign Dominic up for a fraction of the cost, much like they did with Moussa Dembele last summer.
