It’s a bit premature to talk about Eddie Howe Celtic transfer targets when there’s been no official deal in place for the Englishman.
However, SunSport are playing it off as a formality and are already claiming Howe has a handful of targets to bring to Glasgow.
Among the targets is Everton striker Joshua King who is frozen out at Goodison Park.
The best spell of Joshua’s career was under Howe at Bournemouth and now it’s being claimed Howe wants the Norwegian to join his new look Hoops.
Until Howe is confirmed, I will quell the transfer rumours somewhat and take them with an extra pinch of salt. However, King could be a great signing regardless of the manager.
The frontman is out of contract in the summer and the report claims he’s on £45kpw.
Could he be talked into a deal which would see him take a wage cut to play first team football.
At 29, King might fancy a crack at glory.
