CELTIC LOANEE Ryan Christie has told the media that The Dons still believe they are the second best team in the country, even after falling to two defeats against The Rangers last week.

The tricky winger who will head back to Celtic at the end of the season hoping to make his mark at the club remains defiant about Aberdeen’s position in Scotland and believes the players will go all out to help the manager achieve their goals.

“We feel we owe the manager and have to repay him by finishing above Rangers in the league. That has been the aim since the start of the season.” admitted Christie.

“We feel we’re the second-best team in the country and now we’ve got to show that.

Aberdeen come to Celtic Park on the 23rd December looking to claim the Champions scalp and will feel much better after winning against Dundee yesterday.

The Dons have proven to be Celtic’s toughest opponents at times, although they won’t have Christie to call on when they come to Glasgow.
