Celtic loan bhoy, Scott Robertson had accepted a three match ban after an incident against Bolton at the weekend that wasn’t caught by the referee as reported by Crewe’s official website:
Currently on loan at Crewe – the Celtic academy star was caught up in an ‘off the ball’ incident in the EFL and has subsequently been banned for three games.
Robertson is spending the season out on loan, hoping to gain enough experience so by the time he gets back to Celtic Park – Ange Postecoglou will see value in bringing him into the squad.
A three match ban isn’t going to help that cause and the player will be hoping there’s no repeat after he’s seen this suspension through.
The 20-year-old has made 14 appearances for the club already this season and is the starting Xi more often than not. Scott will be hoping someone else doesn’t take his position in the squad over the next three matches.
