Celtic youngster Kerr McInroy helped his loan side make waves tonight as they downed Championship favourites Hearts 2-1 to go top of the league.

Dunfermline have gone from bottom of the table strugglers to title contenders this season and Kerr is along for the ride.

Hearts have the biggest budget and resources in the league and are looking to bounce back after their relegation last term. Both sides have looked good but Hearts certainly fancies their chances of winning on Friday night but it didn’t pan out that way.

Celtic will play the lower league side in the Scottish cup final this December when we finally settle last year’s competition.

Former Celtic hero Craig Gordon now plays for the Jambos and will be raked with trying to keep Celtic from reach their fourth consecutive treble. Had the game gone ahead when it was supposed to, Craig would have been under contract with Celtic.
