During the month of September, Coffey featured 4 times netting the ball once and setting up a teammate once. Despite his efforts, his loan signing has not been enough to attempt to gain promotion for the Irish side.
The season is three games away from conclusion, with Coffey set to return to the hoops after Cork City’s last game on the 29th of October.
However, with the Irishman’s contract set to expire at the end of the season, his future is uncertain. Normally, Celtic would renew a players contract before departing the club on loan, however, this has not happened.
Ange Postecoglou will be keen to have a look at the on-form midfielder when he returns to Lennoxtown, but before that Barry Coffey will attempt to complete a hat-trick of Player of The Month awards.
