With Jullien leaving, it means Celtic are crying out for another defender, with Stephen Welsh the only player able to provide cover to Starfelt and Carter-Vickers.
Sky Sports journalist Anthony Joesph has stated that Celtic are ‘in the market’ for a replacement for Chris Jullien.

Celtic’s situation at the back is concerning, Ange will be making a central defender a priority.
Ange Postecoglou is in no rush
Luckily for Celtic, the first competitive game for the side is at the end of July. Finishing first in the league meant that there are no Champions League qualifiers and Celtic go straight into the Champions League group stage.
Postecoglou doesn’t need to rush to sign a Jullien replacement and will wait to find the right player.
