CELTIC SLO announced on Thursday morning Celtic fans wouldn’t be able to travel to Denmark for the club’s Champions League qualifier in July.

UEFA are not allowing away fans into grounds for European qualification games despite the Euros stadiums being opened for business.

It means there will be no Celtic contingent in Denmark when the Hoops play their second leg against Midtjylland on July 28th.

However, there is some better news from John Paul Taylor who confirmed Celtic are making tentative plans to allow some fans back into the ground.

JP did concede it’s out of the club’s hands and a cautious approach must be taken ahead of next month’s tie. The ambition is to get as many Celtic supporters in and out of the ground as safely as possible.

The club are set to embark on a brand new era under Ange Postecoglou. The bhoys travel to their Welsh training camp at the beginning of July and have three games on the road before coming back to Glasgow.

Games against Preston and West Ham either side of the home Champions League tie with Midtjylland will lead the team nicely into the new SPFL campaign which is due to start on July 31st.

There’s no time to waste from a Hoops perspective.
