CELTIC have made a fresh approach for John McGinn according to reports.

However, some outlets are already reporting that bid has been kicked out.

While unconfirmed at the moment, Celtic and Hibs have seemingly been in disalogue over the weekend which has led to a raised bid on the initial £1.5million offered.

It’s unclear if Celtic have reached Hibs final valuation of the player but the sticking point is more likely to be over future fees.

With Celtic regularly selling players on for big money to the Premier League it will be important to the Easter Road side to make sure they also cash in if that was to happen.

Both John McGinn and Scott Allan are both sitting tight hoping the clubs can do a deal.

  1. If Hibs don’t sell McGinn, then good luck to whoever John ends up wae, be it Hibs, Celtic or whoever pays the price required.

Let John stay wae Hibs one more season ( As I said earlier) And let him improve there.. Than elsewere.

  2. Good point IRA,McGinn has always been seen as a replacement for Broonie,so as it doesn’t look like Broonie’s
ready to hang up his boots any time soon, add the fact that we have plenty midfield cover with Kouassi in particular still to be given a decent crack at a run in the first team.
The perfect scenario for both clubs would be for some kind of deal where Celtic sign McGinn, then loan him back to Hibs for next season,if Broonies legs still up for another season after that, then same loan deal again.
If McGinn suffers bad injury while out on loan then Obviously some kind of clause would come into force.
