Ange Postecoglou has made the front and back pages of the Sydney Morning Herald on a day where he can effectively wrap up the league title.

The Celtic manager has captured the imagination of the Celtic support but he’s also made waves down under as he continues his football journey.

He’s being hailed as one of Australia’s top sports coaches of all time as he gets set to land his seventh honour in the game.

A win against Hearts on Saturday afternoon would be enough to get Celtic over the line. Not mathematically – but even a win from this second placed Rangers* side on Sunday would put the bhoys 6 points clear with 6 remaining and a superior goal difference.

Ange has turned around the fortunes of this club in 10 months. Through a heavy injury crisis and many knocks along the way. It’s little wonder he’s made the front and back of the SMH – this achievement will be right up there for Ange.

  1. ….and no hun detractors can take it from him in the backwater, bigoted, racist cess pool run by the Free Mason govt/establishment and Orange press.
Go on Ange and his team….The best football team and club in Scotland….and that’s a fact at this point in time, supported by all the data. Includes, league position, financial stability, biggest stadium capacity and atmosphere and I am going to take the respected opinions of guys like Iniesta, Ibrahimovic, Messi Del Pierro, (and the list goes on) over a little puke like one of the Neville’s.
What a season, no matter what. Well done Ange.
