REPORTS this morning suggest Celtic have made an official approach for Man City Midfielder Phil Foden.
The 17-year-old starlet has been the subject of much interest from a whole host of clubs south of the border as well as Celtic, but the Scottish Champions are hoping their special relationship with City will tip the scales in their favour.
While many may be confused about Celtic wanting to bring in another player on-loan, especially one so young. Phil has been outstanding in development and has been tipped for the very top in the game such is his talents.
Celtic believe they can help nurture the player and also benefit from his skill going forward until at least the end of the season.
Pep Guardiola is said to be in two minds about any deal that would see Foden move elsewhere.
