As Celtic prepare to face Bayern Munich in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League knockout phase play-off tonight, the club has issued important matchday information to ensure a smooth and safe experience for all supporters attending at Celtic Park.

The stadium will open at 6.30 pm for the 8 pm kick-off.
With a sell-out crowd expected and over 2,900 Bayern Munich fans making the trip to Glasgow, it’s set to be another electric European night under the lights.
There will be airport-style security checks at various entry points, along with ticket inspections to manage the flow of supporters. For those entering the Lisbon Lions Stand, new external stairways leading to Dalriada Street will be in operation. Barriers will be in place to guide fans safely through queue lanes, designed to reduce congestion around the stadium’s busiest areas.
Supporters accessing turnstiles T55-T61, covering sections 115-117 and 417-419, will have to use these new stairways, as this will be the only access point for these areas. On the North Stand side, extended queue lines will be in place along Janefield Street, with stewards stationed to direct fans efficiently through turnstiles 6-13 and 32-39.
After the final whistle, Celtic have also outlined exit procedures to help fans leave the stadium quickly and safely. Those in the Lisbon Lions Stand are advised to exit straight ahead towards the new stairways rather than turning into oncoming crowds. This system has been put in place to ease congestion and improve crowd movement during the stadium’s busiest periods. Supporters seated in sections 110-114 and 411-417 will be guided east along Janefield Street, heading towards Dalriada Street or Springfield Road, where they can disperse as usual.
Fans in the South Stand moving towards the Lisbon Lions Stand will be directed down Kinloch Street before heading onto Dalriada Street or London Road, again to ensure smooth pedestrian flow.
It’s a massive game at Celtic Park tonight. It’s the first Champions League knockout tie in 12 years, and Celtic fans are keen to come out of it with a positive result to take to Germany.
Bayern Munich are a top, top opposition and will be a mighty challenge for the hoops.
The news of Maeda’s availability was a big boost to Celtic’s hopes, with the man from Japan now available for both legs.
There will be no singer tonight.
On the continent they have played under U15, U17, U23 football games (of either sex). Have had people singing sea shanties, sung by both sets of fans (in both Gaelic or goth or Multilingual, in Scandinavia).
So 📢📢🎶🎵🎶Let the people sing, tha stories and tha songs, in tha music, of their native lands.
So if their anything that can ‘gee up’ any support is a nice bit of Ramenstien.
Or in Celtic fan land JohnStein😁😁👍😁👍
Or flood the stadia with underseat N²O.
