REPORTS tonight suggest Celtic have made a THIRD bid for Hibernian midfielder John McGinn.

Brendan Rodgers is desperate to land the Scottish midfielder but Hibs have rebuffed the two previous advances and if reports tonight are correct they have now rejected a third bid.

Hibernian are holding out for top money for the Scottish star who is on the last year of his deal. A fee Celtic can afford but may be unwilling to meet because he would be open to signing a pre-contract in January next year.

Celtic have yet to offer any player as part of a deal for the Hibs star and maybe tempted to add Scott Allan to the mix if they’re serious about signing McGinn this window.

More to follow.

  1. This is becoming embarrassing for the club , we either want him or we leave it to an English 2nd division (championship) to Knick in and get him , who will pay the fee , it’s also embarrassing for the player who only wants to come to us .
