Celtic have been holding talks in London this week with several managerial candidates as their search for a permanent successor to Brendan Rodgers intensifies, Sky Sports reports.
The report suggests the Parkhead hierarchy have stepped up discussions during the international break, with multiple targets interviewed or sounded out as part of the process.
Celtic have been linked with a number of names in recent weeks, including Wilfried Nancy, Kjetil Knutsen, Kieran McKenna, and Efraín Juárez, while Martin O’Neill continues to oversee the first team on an interim basis alongside Shaun Maloney.
It’s understood Dermot Desmond and senior board members are now keen to accelerate the appointment process, with the January transfer window looming and key decisions required on recruitment.
No frontrunner has yet been officially confirmed, but this latest development signals a clear shift in pace from the club, who appear eager to have a new man in place before domestic football resumes next week.
