The only winners of the Celtic managerial race so far appear to be the bookies. The betting odds are more erratic than an Ibrox statement!

Yesterday, we reported of the fresh twist in proceeding with David Moyes becoming favourite to land the gig after rumours online. However, he didn’t last long – less than 24 hours after he was installed as favourite he was knocked off his perch by Andres Vilas Boas.

Yes, we have a new favourite and if you weren’t convinced about the bookies knowing anything then surely you will be now.

Last weeks favourite Rafa Benitez has now slipped down to fourth after nearly seven days as the favourite. The Spaniard is still in talks with Newcastle over his future.

So the list today goes: (according to TSR)

  1. AVB
  2. Neil Lennon
  3. David Moyes
  4. Rafa Benitez
  5. Roberto Martinez

This will likely me changed up by midday. The odds are changing because punters are getting wind of rumours and putting money down. We would suggest keeping your money away from this one because the only person who knows for sure is Dermot Desmond.

  1. Ok its time to put this to bed if its not Neil Lennon then kiss 9 he will have us ready to go from first game in fact he is putting things in place for next season as we talk about new manager and at 7/2 get on him and back him from day one…

  2. We already have a manager (Insitue,) One that knows the club inside out, Neil Lennon, He came back in has done what was required, He could have said no, But he couldn’t turn the offer down, We had a certain manager & co that walked out and stabbed us all in the back, We needed someone in asap and Neil was available, Yes I was sceptical second time around and the team seemed to have been stuck in neutral on the park during this time, But hey fair play to Neil and the players for getting us over the line and becoming 8 In A Row SPL Champions & Now we go to Hampden in the Scottish Cup Final On Saturday and we are on the way to create but yet again another piece of footballing history when we become The Treble Treble History Makers,, So yes Neil Lennon deserves the job so no need to go and spend excess amount of thousands of pounds on someone else, When we have someone who has been a huge success not only as a player with our great club, But he had gotten us into the last 16 Of the champions league before and was at the beginning of our 8 In A Row, I know that their are Neil Lennon Sceptics out their and I was one of them, But now I would like to see Neil Lennon remain at our great club now and into the future, As some would say better the devil you know than the devil you don’t know, Again this is just my opinion some may agree and others may disagree, But I Would Like To Say Is (THANK YOU NEIL LENNON) ?????

    • SORRY I LIKE NEIL BUT IF WE ARE GOING FOR TEN IN A ROW HE HAS NOT GOT WHAT IT TAKES NO HARD FEELINGS NEIL BUT YOUR LOOKING VERY TIRED AND I AM NOT EVEN SURE YOU WANT IT.
