CELTIC FANS want to know as soon as possible but it looks like there will be no announcement until after the Scottish Cup Final has taken place.

The bhoys need a new manager appointed very quickly so they can go about their summer business and give the club the best chance of qualifying for the Champions League.

Rafa Benitez is still sitting as the bookies favourite after dislodging Neil Lennon last week according to TSR as the Spaniard STILL hasn’t signed a new deal at St James’ Park.

Neil Lennon was second favourite but now he has fallen to third with former Manchester United Boss, David Moyes now the second favourite to take over from Brendan Rodgers on a full-time basis.

The speculation has been crazy over the past month with many managers dropping in and out of contention with the bookies.

Right now, the top five candidates at the bookies are:

  1. Benitez
  2. Moyes
  3. Lennon
  4. Michael O’Neill
  5. Claudio Ranieri

What are the odds it’s none of these guys?

  1. When all said and done we really have to appreciate the way Neil Lennon stepped in when another left us, He could have said no but their was no way he could have or would refused to say no, Yes I had my doubts second time around, I thought ok just until we get another manager in, The team seemed to be not firing on all cylinders after the departure of another manager, But when you stop and think about things and take into consideration what had taken place in the last couple of months or so, I stepped back and thought do you know what, We expect so much from our bhoys and demand success after success, After all said and done, Do you know what our bhoys are not robots, They are human-beings they have feelings same as everyone else, Some people can get over certain things that happen in life a lot quicker than others some others take a lot longer and we all have to accept that, We had a manager & co that stabbed us in the back, We had the loss of of certain personnel, We had players contracts to sort out, We had to get another manager to come in at breath-neck speed, We had injuries to players, We had on loan players to sort out, Also the supporters had gone through most or all of this and even had to take stock of what was going on etc etc, Our Celtic family had the great loss of 2 Lisbon Lions in one week and this loss reverberated well beyond and within Paradise and we had to remember our great Lisbon Lions that are still with us today, Low and behold we had 8 In A Row SPL Titles to go for and the bhoys didn’t let us down, Then We have a certain Scottish Cup Final & The Treble Treble On what is the 52nd Anniversary of our greatest ever triumph winning The European Cup, Saturday 25th May 2019 & The Bhoys shall be wearing numbers 5 & 9 of our 2 Lisbon Lions that so tragically past on in the same week, Our Great Captain Big Billy McNeill (5) & Stevie Chalmers who scored the goal that won us the big cup (9), Can I please add this could not only be a massive day doing the treble treble, But announcing a Certain Neil Lennon as our Manager and he can be their for 10 In A Row, He stepped up to the plate when needed, Yes I had my doubts second time around, But why not have Lenny their for 9 & 10 In A Row, Why go out and spend excess amount of money bringing in another manager when we have one there insitue and knows the club and the supporters and can bring further success for everyone concerned with our great club, (NEIL LENNON THANK YOU)

  2. If useless David Moyes gets the job then no one go watch any games, fans are bigger than any club no fans no club, and we would be taking a backward step if we make David Moyes new manager say no to David Moyes….
