We have been watching the bookies odds for the last month and it has been fascinating to say the least. Neil Lennon was largely unmoved as the favourite for the full time Celtic managerial role until the defeat at Ibrox. Since then there seems to be a new favourite every day.
Since last week we’ve had Rafa as the bookies favourite then Andres Villas Boas, then Davie Moyes back to Neil Lennon and now this morning Rafa Benitez has emerged back at the top of the pile. A strange twist considering reports yesterday claimed he’d reached an agreement with Newcastle. However, those reports have not been confirmed at all.
As we’ve mentioned many times, the bookies are raking it in with the money put on several candidates.
Celtic are likely to show their hand shortly after the Cup Final.
