LUCA CONNELL said his official goodby to Celtic and Glasgow on Tuesday evening, the midfielder confirming he will not be returning to Celtic for pre-season.
Luca was signed for Celtic after making his first team debut for a struggling Bolton side, but the Irish U21 international wouldn’t play a single first team game for the Hoops during his time at the club.
The midfielder managed to get first team football with Queens Park over the past two seasons – sent out on loan from Celtic.

Luca was never given a chance at Celtic, but many will say you have to earn that chance. Sometimes it can just be down to timing.
