LEWIS MORGAN has told Celtic fans he has no intention of quitting Parkhead either on-loan or permanently after the player was asked about his immediate future.

Speaking at the start of Celtic’s annual Christmas drive, the midfielder was positive about his future at the club and dismissed anything linking him with a move away is simply paper talk.

“I never heard anything about that. When I came in I didn’t want to go anywhere else so that was never a possibility. I am here and I want to try and fight for my place at this club.” told Celtic Official.

“It was paper talk,”

“I am not looking to go out on loan. I am looking to go out and play. I am just focusing on the games coming up. We have been doing really well and we are hoping to keep it going.”

Morgan was loaned back to St Mirren last season when Celtic bought him in January so he could finish what he started with the Saints.

The Paisley side gained promotion and now Morgan is working hard to get in this Celtic side, which is no easy thing to do.

The midfielder was also linked with a move to Sunderland in the summer to link up with former St Mirren manager, Jack Ross but he dismissed the link completely.
