CELTIC midfielder Nir Bitton has tonight vowed to never try and shoot from ’70 yards out’ after the Israeli took two shots at Tynecastle which went wildly over the bar.

The bhoys managed a very late goal, deep into stoppage time to win the game and after the match, the midfielder took to social media to comment it was ‘business as usual’ before making the promise to Celtic supporters about his shooting.

Scott Brown was quick to weigh in on his teammate’s post with the Celtic captain agreeing with Nir and said he was worried for the crowd at Tynecastle.

Bitton has come back into the side over the past month after spending 11 months out injured. Fit Celtic midfielders are thin on the ground at the moment and is why there was such a makeshift central midfield for the game in Edinburgh.

Callum McGregor being out for a couple of weeks is a major blow along with Ryan Christie with Celtic still waiting on Ntcham and Rogic to get back playing again also.

If Nir keeps it simple he can be effective.
