Speaking yesterday after Celtic had won the league cup, Celtic midfielder and potential ‘player of the year’ Stefan Johansen was reflective and full of praise for manager Ronny Deila.

The Norweigan played under the manager when they were both with Stromgodset in Norway and the player admits that the manager gets the best out of him.

“I enjoy playing under him [Deila], he understands how to get the best out of me, he believes in me. I am really enjoying my football right now.” said Stefan.

Celts Are Here
When asked about a potential treble the player was coy but admitted that this first trophy may go a long way in Celtic’s season. Noting how well the team has improved in such a short space of time.

“There’s still a long way to go for the treble but this is the first trophy,”

“We struggled in the beginning of the season, but I was sure the gaffer was going to do brilliant things here.”
