CELTIC midfielder Nir Bitton has sent out an emotional message to his followers on New Year’s Eve as the player looks to the future.
Nir spent most of 2018 sidelined with a severe knee injury which he had to undergo surgery for back in February this year.
The rest of the year has been dedicated to rest and recovery along with very hard and demanding physiotherapy.
In the past month, Bitton has came through a closed door game and a developmental game unscathed and will now be heading to Dubai with the rest of the squad to get up to speed.
There is a very strong possibility the Celtic player could start or play a cameo role in The Bhoy’s Scottish Cup game against Airdrie at Celtic Park on January 19th.
Celtic will start their defence of the Cup after the winter break and it may be the perfect time to bring the Israel international back into the fold.
