CELTIC are aiming for European football beyond Christmas this season and have given themselves a great chance of doing so after their away win against Anderlecht.

However, if you speak to Stuart Armstrong, he’s not yet ready to concede that Celtic can’t do one better and get into the last 16 with a little bit of luck.

If we can win on Tuesday night then I don’t see why
second place can’t be achievable at all, we have to aim as high as possible,”

“Anything is possible. We do not want to put a label on where we want to end up. We take each game as it comes, as boring as it is. I know everyone hates it when players say that, but it is true. We do not want to think this is where we want to end up, we just need to try and take as many points as we can.”

Armstrong came on late in the game against Kilmarnock as the Ayrshire side battled for a draw against the Champions. The Scottish Midfielder should be raring to go on Tuesday night against the best Bayern has to offer.
