Celtic youngster Cameron Harper made his full first team debut on Celtic Park but it could be one of his last appearances.
The midfielder has been at the club for quite some time now and it was only under the most crazy of circumstances he made it onto the field on Monday night against Hibernian.
The start doesn’t look to have done much to sway the player to stay on at Celtic beyond the summer with reports stateside saying the USA born player is heading back across the pond to sign for New York red bulls.

Harper had an ok game but you could tell he wasn’t match sharp because the Celtic youth system is non existent at the moment apart from training.
Even before the pandemic the lack of competitive matches is taking its toll on the younger players and their progress. So many have cut ties with the club over the last two years and Harper looks like the next, unfortunately.
That’s for the best , the lad would never make the first team squad
Sadly no youngsters are coming through at all.
The youth set up needs the same overhaul as the rest of the club, wee Dembele looks as if he’s made no progress and any talented youngster will think long and hard before coming to Celtic
