Celtic are very rich when it comes to attacking midfielders on both sides; it’s one of the reasons why Scott Sinclair can’t make the squad. However, there’s another man who has vanished off the face of the earth in the past two months – Marian Shved.

The Ukranian midfielder appeared like he had all the attributes to come into Celtic this summer and stake his claim for a place early on but it hasn’t panned out that way.

Neil Lennon has been reluctant to put Shved on the bench at times with a foot injury stopping him from being chosen at points. Celtic signed Shved in January and as we approach the 2020 January window, it’s clear this lad must urgently go out on loan to continue his development.

If he isn’t going to be used by Celtic then Neil Lennon and the club must find a place where Shved can go and prove himself and get more experience. If you have watched Marian play in the past for his old club, you will know there’s a player in him and it will ultimately benefit Celtic in the long run.

Some will argue, Marian or Sinclair should be ahead of Lewis Morgan in the pecking order and while Morgan is making it onto the bench he’s not getting much game time either. There’s an argument to be made for a loan move for him too.
