CELTIC look set to make their second summer signing as Brendan Rodgers looks to build on last years success.

Reports down south suggest Celtic are in advanced talks with young midfielder Kundai Benyu.

The 19-year-old has refused to sign a new deal with his current club Ipswich and is available for a nominal developmental fee. A fee that will be less than any Premier League club would have to pay.

Benyu has been scouted on several occasions by Spurs, Stoke and a host of Championship sides last season but Celtic look to have got the jump on all of them and look to secure his signature.

While Celtic fans will be happy Brendan is building for the future they’re still waiting on a big game player to help take us to a new level. This is probably not going to happen at least until Celtic know their Champions league status.
