CELTIC are on the brink of qualification to the knockout stages of the Europa League after winning in Norway and seeing Leipzig lose in Austria against Salzburg.

Salzburg has run away with the group, winning all their matches so far in the tournament racking up 15/15 points.

Celtic are now on 9 points with Leipzig on 6 going into the final Europa matchday in December.

This means Celtic would only need a point to make sure of a place in the last 32.

It was a dominant first half from the bhoys followed by a shakier second half but the Celtic side did enough on the night to make sure of all three points in Norway.

A goal from Scott Sinclair after James Forrest did all the hard work was enough on the night to get the victory.

One of Celtic’s main men on the night was Filip Benkovic who helped build from the back and defended well when he was called upon.
