Reports today confirm Celtic are on the brink of signing Osdonne Edouard on a permanent record-breaking deal.
Celtic have been deep in talks with PSG since before last season, ironing out the finer points of the deal such as money up front, sell on fees etc.
The club now look in a strong position to finish the deal quickly and have Edouard at their disposal for the Champions League qualifiers.
While the fee is the source of some debate, it’s believed that this transfer would break Celtic’s long standing £6million record and by a distance.
The catalyst behind this move happening is because of the striker himself who’s loving it at Celtic Park and has told PSG officially he doesn’t see his future anywhere else other than Celtic Park at this point.
With the fee being so large Celtic are looking to sign the Frenchman up in a Tom Rogic style five-year-deal.
It looks like Celtic are about to make waves.
