According to sources at Spurs, Celtic have opened talks to seal a permanent deal for Cameron Carter-Vickers.

RecordSport revealed the two clubs are now in talks that would see Cameron make the switch to Glasgow on a permanent basis either in January or in the summer./

There is an option to buy the defender for around £6m plus adding. We believe Celtic will try and negotiate a new deal with the London club that would see Cameron move to Celtic for less than what the current option dictates.

The defender has been ever-present for the bhoys this season and has been part of a defence that’s conceded the least goals in the SPFL.

Celtic fans would be delighted to see this deal happen. Cameron has been a breath of fresh air and it would be another signal of intent from the Celtic board. The club have shown they are serious by signing three Japanese stars in the one day to kick off the January window. Grabbing Cameron or even Jota on a permanent basis before the end of the month would be another great move.
