MATT O’RILEY has been a brilliant player since he arrived in January. The midfielder has brought something new to the middle of the park and has even displaced Tom Rogic.

His performances have been so impressive; he has earned a call-up to Denmark’s under 21 squad, a reminder of the former MK Dons man’s potential.

Celtic face a challenging ten games if they are to in the treble, a task undiscussed at the start of the season.

Currently ahead in the league, winning it is in Celtic’s hands. It won’t be easy. There could be a few hiccups along the way, with two Glasgow Derbies to play in the league and another in the Scottish Cup.

However, the mentality that has been installed into the squad is brilliant, and there is a belief that they can push on and win the remaining two trophies of the league season.

As quoted by the Daily Record, Matt O’Riley stated;

“That’s the mindset we have [that Celtic can beat anyone], it has to be like that. It comes from the manager. He [Postecoglou] really believes we can beat anyone and that transfers to the boys. You see it on the pitch, we really believe in ourselves.”

Performances in recent weeks haven’t been the standard that the squad can perform to. The manager has identified this and works with the players to raise the level.

“We spoke about it. I think the level dropped a little bit performance wise. It can happen for whatever reasons. There’s been a lot of games this season already.

“But we rectified it quickly. The training standards have always been really high. As long as we drive that every day it will translate on to the pitch.”

With more time on the training ground, Postecoglou will have better training sessions with his team. Hopefully, fans will see the performance levels rise on the pitch soon.
