At this moment in time, it looks like Marian Shved’s time at Celtic will be up, sooner rather than later.

Neil Lennon hasn’t used the winger much at all after he made the move from Ukraine last summer. The Celtic support had high hopes for the midfielder and we can’t really call him a flop as he’s not actually had the opportunity to flop.

According to SunSport, there’s internet in Shved from the Hungarian Champions Ferencvaros, managed by former Spurs player . Sergie Rebrov.

The manager already has two Ukrainian players on his books and when quizzed on the potential of bringing Marian into the club, he didn’t confirm his interest but he certainly didn’t deny anything.

“I don’t want to confirm or deny my interest in Marian Shved.

“Of course I would be happy to work with another Ukrainian in the squad, but there are a number of players in all positions we are looking at.

“We are always looking to improve the squad.”

Neil Lennon and Celtic will have to trim any fat in the Celtic squad this summer to make sure the club are in the best financial position possible. Unlike most seasons, there can be no fringe stars hanging about. Shved looks likely to fall out favour unless something happens in pre-season training.
