Not one but two Celtic players are walking a disciplinary tight rope on Thursday evening against Lazio which would see them miss out on the home Rennes game if either pick up a yellow against Lazio.

Odsonne Edouard and Christopher Jullien are close to breaching the threshold for yellows in the competition.

Edouard has been on a ban since the home game against Cluj and it would be unthinkable not to have our star man for Rennes at home after the international break.

Jullien has been a towering figure at centre-back for the club and grabbed the winner against the Italian’s at home – it seems inevitable the Frenchman will pick up another caution between now and the end of the group stage.

Hopefully Celtic can get over the line and if bans do come in the group stage it would be Cluj away if we had already qualified. Nothing is ever that straight forward though.

A win tonight would put Celtic on the brink but it’s going to be a tough ask.

  1. Am happy with a draw,Then let us play this high Energy game with a strong Defence 5 along the back 3 holding midfielders in a rotating triangle so the Lazio game plan of marking our midfielders will become very difficult with our rotating midfield and the 1 attacking midfielder makes a line of 3 with any two of our rotating holding midfielders by playing in the Middle right behind our CF and they to are first line of our Defence we defend from the front first we hit them hard but fair we defend as one unit….

Lets do this Celtic lets get some thing from this game
