SCOTLAND will move beyond level 0 on August 9 and physical distance will be scrapped for the first time in over 18 months. [ScotParliament]

It means larger crowds can return to stadiums after that date.

However, there’s a caveat, any Scottish club will still have to apply for more fans to get into grounds for numbers over 5k.

It means Celtic will certainly be applying for the maximum amount and with physical distancing not a legal requirement anymore for venues, surely we’re about to see a return to near enough a full stadium.

We can’t count our chickens just yet and we’ll have to wait to see what the club come back with after today’s announcement by the first minister.

The second leg against Jablonec will be the first game after we move past Level 0 and all eyes are on the club to see how many will be allowed through the doors.

We’re slowly getting there.
