It has been claimed the future of Celtic outcast Marian Shved will be sorted out shortly according to the midfielder’s dad.

The winger hasn’t had much of a chance at Celtic since moving to Glasgow last summer and he’s heading for the Parkhead exit door sooner rather than later.

As cited by RecordSport, Marian’s Dad says it’s now in the hands of the player’s agent:

“I think there will be clarity about Marian’s next club very soon. It’s in the hands of his agent now.

“The Scottish league was ended prematurely and Marian returned home due to the coronavirus and he kept himself in very good shape here.

“He still has a great future ahead of him.”

Many in the Celtic support we’re excited when Marian came in last summer and it looked like we had a player on our hands. Neil Lennon sees the young lad in training and has deemed him not up to scratch. You can’t really argue with that when the manager and coaches see him regularly. With his career stalled, it’s probably best for both parties to go their separate ways.

Celtic have yet to bring anybody in during the summer yet, there’s still plenty of time and the transfer window in Scotland has been postponed so no players can officially be registered until a later date.

Last night we reported Moi Elyounoussi now has a decision to make about his future with Celtic and Real Betis offering him a season long loan.
