Several Celtic players have today received their call-ups to their national sides for the up and coming international break at the end of this month.
Over the last few days, we have seen goalkeeper Vasilias Barkas missed out on a call-up for his nation but a few of his Celtic team-mates have been more fortunate in gaining the chance to earn further caps for their sides.
Both Kristoffer Ajer and Mohamed Elyounoussi were once again called up to the Norway squad which also features stars such as Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard.

Nir Bitton has only just recently returned to training after picking up an injury against St Mirren several weeks back. However, that hasn’t stopped his national side, Israel, calling him up alongside former Celt Hatem Elhamed.

As we reported earlier, Conor Hazard celebrated his new contract at the club with another call-up to the Northern Ireland squad. You can read more about this here.
An international break isn’t usually the most exciting time as a football fan but for anyone wanting their dose of Celtic action, there will be plenty of players out on international duty next week. However, I am sure this break will be welcomed by some Hoops fans after the season we have had.
