Footballers and social media go hand in hand these days, but on Wednesday morning, Conor Hazard’s dormant Twitter account that hadn’t posted anything in 4 years came to life with some questionable tweets.

The posts were all Ibrox club related, pictures of James Tavernier and declaring Joe Aribo is an incredible player were some of the posts mentioned by the Glasgow Times.

Sometimes players will say their social media has been hacked when they stick out a controversial tweet, but in this case, I think we can say it’s pretty conclusive.

Conor is a boyhood Celtic fan and it’s almost been a year since his Cup final penalty heroics that landed us the quadruple treble.

The player signed a new deal with the club last season after featuring in a handful of games. It looks to be a misjudged move by the club, Hazard doesn’t look like he has a future at Celtic in the short or long term.

Let’s hope he can find a stronger password in future.
