There had been online rumours this week Mortiz Jenz was struggling with an injury ahead of the new season, but Celtic’s official social media appear to have ended that speculation.
The official Celtic account posted up images of the players training ahead of their opening game against Aberdeen and Mortiz Jenz was among the players training.
The speculation online claimed the German defender had picked up an injury during an intense bounce game midweek.
If he did pick up a knock on the day, it’s not affected the big man.
The Lorient Loan bhoy will likely start on the bench on Sunday but could make his competitive debut at some point in proceedings.
Jenz told CeltsAreHere earlier this month that he hopes to earn a permanent deal with the Scottish Champions. The bhoys tried to sign him last season before he moved to France, if he performs we could see another loan deal turned into a permanent move.
Jota and CCV both impressed to the point they were signed on big deals this summer. Moritz could be the next!
