LEIGH GRIFFITHS has been spoken to over a party he held at his house for his partner this week after pictures emerged online.
Leigh and the rest of the Celtic players are under strict rules to stay in their sporting bubble. We saw what happens when players break those rules this week with Aberdeen and their players testing positive for the virus and having their fixture postponed.
Something like this happening to Celtic would put further pressure on the club’s season and it’s imperative ALL players stick to the guidelines.
A spokesperson for the club has told SunSport that Leigh has been reminded of his responsibilities after the club were made aware of the situation.
“We’re aware of it and he has been reminded of his responsibilities.”
Leigh is on thin ice with Neil Lennon and his coaching staff. The last thing he should be doing is drawing undue attention to himself. The lad needs to keep his head down and continue to make sure he works hard to break into the Celtic squad again.
It’s going to be tougher than ever for the player with so much competition this season.
