Celtic new bhoy Hatem Abd Elhamed looks set to fly out with Celtic this afternoon even though he picked up a knock and had to be substituted during Celtic’s 7-0 win over St Johnstone according to Darren Johnstone of SunSport.

The defender had an impressive debut for the hoops before having to come off with a dead leg.

Neil Lennon mentioned he would be a doubt for the game in Romania but it looks like he might get every chance to prove his fitness before the tie on Wednesday evening.

A dead leg is a tricky one – you can recover after a few days and other times it could take a week or two for it to properly heal.

If Celtic can get the defender back up and running quickly it would do no harm whatsoever. Especially when you realise Kristoffer Ajer could be pushed out wide in Elhamed’s absence. you really want the Norweigan in the heart of the defence.
