CELTIC are next in action in the second tier of European football next Thursday, however, in the final match of the group stage Celtic have received good news regarding their opponents.

After flying to Germany on matchday five, Celtic will host Seville side, Real Betis to round up the group stage. Betis star, Nabil Fekir, will miss the next three European matches after a loss of discipline lead to coming together at the end of the match. [daily record]

Fekir is a key player in the Spanish side commonly contributing to goals whether he is scoring himself or setting up his teammates.

When the Spanish come to Glasgow, depending on results from the previous matchday, it could be a playoff for second place.

Fekir’s absence could come back to haunt the team. After Celtic scored three times away from home, many supporters are confident heading into the match confident of getting a result.

But let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves.
