Celtic have received a major injury boost ahead of their Scottish Cup clash with Kilmarnock and their crucial Champions League showdown with Young Boys, as winger Daizen Maeda has returned to training.

The Japan international missed the Hoops’ last two games—against Ross County and Dundee—after picking up a knock, but images released by SNS show Maeda back at Lennoxtown with the squad, offering manager Brendan Rodgers a timely lift as the fixtures continue to pile up.
Nicolas Kuhn, who missed the Ross County game but returned to play against Dundee, was back in training after his midweek exploits.
Alex Valle was also spotted in training, despite ongoing speculation linking him with a move to Serie A side Como this month. Maik Nawrocki, who has been linked to Oxford United, trained as well as Kyogo and Palma, who have both been linked with moves away from the club.
Maeda’s return is a significant boost for the Hoops. The Japanese winger has been one of Celtic’s standout performers this season, with his pace, work rate, and ability to stretch defences proving crucial in both domestic and European competitions.
With the Scottish Cup clash against Kilmarnock on the horizon and a decisive Champions League group-stage fixture against Young Boys midweek—where qualification for the knockout stages is at stake—Rodgers will be delighted to have the energetic forward back in contention.
Great news our left side needs maeda covering back cause most trouble to our goals come from there KT if he comes will sort most of the issue up I’m sure Rodgers even though he backs his players must be annoyed every time we move the ball to our left somehow has to go back to go forward allowing teams to organise defensively
That’s a problem through out the team, for whatever reason our players seem to be drawn to the left side even when we are wide open on the right side. No one seems to be able to make the quick switch across the field pass! There is always the extra touch or extra pass when moving the ball from one side to the other?
