Alexandro Bernabei is clear to play in Celtic’s FIRST game of the season when Aberdeen come to town on flag day.

There were question marks over the defender’s suspension he picked up in his final game for Lanus.

However, The Scottish Express is now reporting this will not be an issue and Alexandro will be free to play against Aberdeen at the end of the month.

The Argentine defender is in Austria with his new teammates hoping to make an impact during their 6 pre-season friendlies before the Aberdeen tie.

He could begging his competitive Celtic career on flag day if Ange believes he’s up for the task to go straight into the starting XI.

The 21-year-old has a huge upside but he’s still a work in progress. I don’t see Greg Taylor being wiped to one side by the Celtic manager but we are more likely to see a slow transition if Alexandro shows he’s ready for the slot.

Celtic behind their pre-season on Wednesday night against Viktoria Wiener in Austria. It should be the first chance Celtic fans get a glimpse of their new left back.
