Celtic have released information with regards to their Viaplay Sports Cup semi-final against Kilmarnock in January [Celtic FC].

The trophy tends to have been dished out before the end of the year with it being the first piece of silverware that sides can win but due to the World Cup its schedule has had to be moved back this season.

Celtic booked their place in the semi-final of the cup at Hampden after a thumping 4-0 victory at Fir Park having also seen off Ross County in the previous round away from home.

It has been tradition for the Hoops to feature in the late Saturday evening kick-off with this season being no different with the game scheduled for a 5.30pm start at Hampden on Saturday 14 January.

The competition is special to this Celtic group, with it being many of the players first pieces of silverware at Celtic after the 2-1 victory over Hibs last December.
